• Review, draft, and submit grant proposals and supporting contracts • Conduct comprehensive analyses and apply federal, state, local, and private funding guidelines • Submit funding applications based on client specifications and funding-specific requirements • Track submission negotiations and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing of grants and contracts • Review and negotiate template agreements based on client specifications or previously completed contracts • Provide research support for universities and academic medical centers across the country • Work on multiple clients concurrently
• U.S. work authorization required • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 1 year of experience or equivalent education in research administration and agreement negotiation • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines • Ability to multi-task and support multiple internal initiatives simultaneously • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to learn quickly • High-level attention to detail • Knowledge of federal, state, local, and private funding guidelines, including federal Uniform Guidance, FAR terms and conditions, state funding rules and regulations, and privately funded award requirements
