📋 Description

• Ensure assigned plants comply with all regulatory requirements including OSHA/EPA/NFPA/DOT programs and adherence to ISO14001/45001programs. • Oversee incident management processes, ensuring thorough accident investigations, serious incident reporting, and effective use of the Incident Management System (IMS) to track KPIs and HSE engagement. • Serve as the primary coordinator for healthcare services related to workplace injuries and illnesses, supporting appropriate case management. • Support plants in identifying and correcting unsafe conditions, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corporate safety, health, and environmental standards in compliance with regulatory requirements. • Partner with plant HSE Managers on OSHA/EPA interactions, regulatory reporting, inspections, and representation at local, state, and federal regulatory meetings. • Manage industrial hygiene programs, including monitoring air, noise, and heat stress; reviewing sampling results; and ensuring adherence to regulatory limits and internal standards. • Lead the hiring, development, and functional oversight of plant HSE professionals, providing guidance and support to dotted‑line reports. • Oversee emergency preparedness and response programs, supervise accident investigations, and collaborate on environmental reporting to regulatory agencies.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and/or Environmental management • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments in functions such as: Operations, Engineering, Quality, or Operational Excellence. • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including daily use of HRIS, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools. • Proficiency in English is required. • Must have a valid drivers’ license to facilitate extensive travel required. • Master’s degree in health, Safety, or Environmental or an equivalent combination of education & experience is required.
