📋 Description

• Facilitate interaction between operations and sales to ensure client needs are met • Provide client services and sales support for identifying accounts or specific salespeople • Develop new business opportunities from existing clients • Oversee client inquiries via phone, email, or other channels • Track acknowledgement and response quality for key clients • Handle exceptions and internal escalations • Respond to or delegate non-sales client inquiries • Identify resource efficiencies and compile relevant marketing assets for business development efforts • Track key account news to identify engagement and growth opportunities • Generate metrics and reports for key accounts across departments • Identify potential opportunities and work with the sales team • Provide support to the sales team • Collaborate with operations to deliver transportation and warehouse solutions • Assist with RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and client presentations • Prepare and follow up on quotes for key clients • Conduct research and data-assembly projects through interdepartmental collaboration • Support development of SOPs for key clients • Recommend and implement process improvements to drive profitability and efficiency • Assist in shipment origination or warehouse fulfillment as needed • Implement improved processes, procedures, and automation • Perform other duties and projects supporting ICAT’s fast-paced environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience • 2+ years’ experience in logistics and/or freight forwarding operations and account management, or equivalent education and experience • 1+ years of freight quoting and pricing experience • Customer service experience • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Ability to plan and effectively set priorities for implementation • Proven analytic and problem-solving skills in a time-sensitive logistics environment • Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate superior time management skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work setting with strong attention to detail • Superior communication and listening skills • Ability to interact successfully across a variety of settings and with a broad and diverse workforce • Ability to work in a client-centric setting • Flexibility as priorities shift • Consistent follow-up and follow-through • Highly motivated team player with an outgoing and positive work attitude • High level of personal integrity • Adaptive to ICAT’s core values • Ability to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus • Clear, easy-to-understand oral communication ability • Ability to sit for prolonged periods • Ability to occasionally stoop, climb, or squat
