📋 Description

• Monitor assigned EECBG projects to ensure project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and performance objectives are well defined and maintained. • Perform technical evaluations of recipient activities, identify implementation challenges and corrective actions, and recommend refinements to project requirements and execution strategies. • Track recipient progress toward approved milestones, energy savings targets, emissions reduction goals, resilience objectives, and other program performance metrics. • Review recipient reports, deliverables, implementation plans, and supporting documentation for completeness, quality, and consistency with approved scopes of work. • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned recipients, providing responsive support and guidance regarding implementation, reporting, compliance, and program requirements. • Coordinate with recipients, DOE staff, technical assistance providers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution and timely resolution of issues. • Support financial monitoring activities, including tracking obligations, expenditures, cost share, and project budgets against approved award requirements. • Prepare and maintain financial assistance documentation and program records in accordance with DOE policies, federal regulations, and EECBG program requirements. • Develop technical memoranda, briefing materials, presentations, talking points, guidance documents, reports, and other client-ready products that support program implementation and decision-making. • Compile, analyze, and synthesize programmatic, financial, and performance data to support reporting, portfolio management, strategic planning, and continuous program improvement. • Assist with the identification and dissemination of best practices, lessons learned, innovative approaches, and success stories across the EECBG portfolio. • Support recipient engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, webinars, trainings, conferences, and technical assistance sessions. • Coordinate across multiple assignments and stakeholders to support high-quality, on-time project delivery. • Maintain accurate and timely information in DOE systems and databases and support audits, reviews, evaluations, and data calls as required. • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting project leadership, sharing knowledge, and helping advance program objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability, public policy, public administration, business administration, energy management, or a related discipline. • Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree. • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience. • PMP Certification • Experience supporting DOE, particularly SCEP programs. • Familiarity with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program. • Experience supporting federally funded energy projects. • Experience supporting project management activities involving coordination among clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams. • Experience evaluating project performance metrics, including energy or savings. • Familiarity with DOE systems and federal grants management processes. • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment supporting government clients. • Experience supporting federal, state, local, Tribal, or utility-funded energy, sustainability, environmental, infrastructure, or community development programs. • Experience with financial assistance documentation, program administration, or financial tracking systems. • Experience reviewing technical reports, project documentation, deliverables, or performance data. • Experience developing technical reports, presentations, briefing materials, or other professional communications products. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience compiling and evaluating quantitative and qualitative information. • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a client-service environment. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
