📋 Description

• Manage the full spectrum of investigator engagement from identification and qualification through enrollment, database lock support, and study closeout • Serve as a clinical trial scientific ambassador, explaining protocol intent, scientific rationale, and patient eligibility requirements • Develop strategic relationships with investigators across trials and therapeutic areas • Create tailored recruitment strategies and identify opportunities to reach new patients and accelerate enrollment • Capture site insights to optimize feasibility, protocol design, and study conduct • Lead site-level strategy and risk planning for enrollment and data delivery • Use performance metrics to anticipate issues and maintain progress toward clinical milestones • Drive inspection readiness across sites • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to resolve operational barriers • Maintain understanding of local treatment paradigms and standard of care for country/site selection and protocol localization • Provide oversight and quality assurance for vendor monitoring • Lead Post-Marketing Safety Studies where applicable • Cultivate a portfolio of strategically aligned investigators • Support an exceptional investigator experience as a scientific partner • Conduct data-informed site prospecting and prioritization • Act as a liaison between field teams, vendors, and investigators • Partner with field team colleagues to improve enrollment outcomes and investigator relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong preference for scientific, clinical, or health-related fields • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical industry with experience directly interacting with or working with HCPs and clinical sites • Open to up to 60-80% travel during peak times (travel will vary) • Oncology experience required (Breast/Gyn experience preferred) • Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based
