📋 Description

• Lead the strategic design, continuous improvement, and operational execution of the Inventory Management department • Oversee Demand and Supply Planning teams and serve as functional product owner for planning systems, algorithms, heuristics, and data architectures • Direct the strategic roadmap for Demand and Supply Planning • Lead, mentor, and build high-performing planning teams • Partner with IT, Data Engineering, and software vendors to design, test, deploy, and optimize automated planning tools, integrations, and predictive algorithms • Develop and refine statistical forecasting models, dynamic safety stock calculations, lead-time variability models, and automated replenishment logic • Drive data architecture and quantitative inputs for IBP and S&OP • Establish dashboards monitoring forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turns, OTIF, and excess and obsolete risks • Audit and optimize planning parameters including reorder points, service levels, lead times, and minimum order quantities • Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Finance on inventory targets, assortment planning, launches, promotions, and seasonal events • Facilitate demand projections and collaborative planning with suppliers • Foster continuous learning, data-driven decision-making, and technical capability • Provide goals, performance coaching, and career growth trajectories for team members

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Demand & Supply Planning, or Inventory Management • At least 5 years in a leadership/management role • Demonstrated track record of leading technical, system-driven supply chain initiatives • Ecommerce/retail experience preferred, within merchandising / planning and VMS/Health and Wellness background • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or related quantitative field required • Master’s degree (MS/MBA) or APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus • Deep understanding of enterprise supply chain software, planning algorithms, statistical forecasting methodologies, and Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) • Proven ability to lead complex software implementations, upgrades, data migrations, or integration projects • Ability to query large datasets, build advanced quantitative models, and translate technical analytics into strategic recommendations • Experience with ERP and APS tools such as SAP IBP, Oracle SCM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or equivalent • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker and functional knowledge of SQL • Mastery of advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling • Familiarity with statistical modeling tools, Python, or R is highly desirable • Proficiency in project management platforms such as Asana or Jira and cloud productivity suites such as Google Workspace or MS Office • Exceptional executive communication, change management, and cross-functional influence abilities
