📋 Description

• Provide virtual patient care and perform duties permitted by licensure and credentialing documentation • Conduct virtual patient visits and complete patient assessments • Order and interpret tests and exams to guide patient care • Diagnose patient needs and determine plans of care • Collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team, consulting physicians, APPs, and other care providers on treatment plans • Provide and oversee patient treatment, including appropriate prescriptive practice • Apply advanced specialty knowledge to deliver appropriate, effective, timely, and cost-efficient care • Complete timely clinical documentation and accurate coding and billing • Educate patients, families, staff, and students as appropriate • Coordinate and communicate patient-care information with other providers • Participate in research and use evidence-based practice to support quality care, protocols, care process models, and best-practice standards

🎯 Requirements

• Current or ability to obtain Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana state APRN license • Nurse Practitioner certification with full prescriptive authority in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, or current or ability to obtain Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana Physician Assistant license • Current certification from a recognized certifying organization, such as NCCPA for physician assistants or ANCC/AANP for nurse practitioners • Applicable experience as defined by position leadership • Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License II through V • Eligibility for Federal DEA Certificate II through V • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers • Other certification as required, such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP • Skills in patient/acute and chronic care, pharmacology management, patient assessment, implementing treatment plans, computer keyboarding and technology, and communication • Preferred: Master’s degree or higher • Ability to see and read information and labels and assess patient needs • Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately • Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment • Frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing information, and medication preparation • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
