IMH also runs digital platforms to support project estimation and paid home-service offerings, coordinates large-scale catastrophe responses, and connects insurers, beneficiaries and service providers via its accredited prestataire network.

📋 Description

• Serve as the first connection between Intermountain and patients • Foster relationships with patients, parents, and guardians regarding patient care • Answer phones promptly and communicate patient needs through messaging with clinical caregivers • Provide courteous and professional customer service through omnichannel communications • Identify and resolve scheduling, registration, business, billing, payor, and medical requests • Document essential information in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Coordinate with clinical care teams and other teams to provide seamless patient solutions • Use analytical skills and technical resources to anticipate and resolve patient requests • Support enterprise productivity and quality initiatives • Participate in planning, communication, and team and individual contributions toward Intermountain Health KPIs

🎯 Requirements

• One year of customer service experience • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills • Self-motivated and able to work well in a call center environment • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills • Must reside within a one-hour driving distance of Denver or Grand Junction, Colorado, or Butte or Billings, Montana • Must furnish a DSL, fiber optic, or cable home Internet connection • Wireless and satellite Internet connections are not allowed • Hardwired ethernet connection required • Flexibility to work any days and hours during operating hours • Preferred: one year of customer service experience in a hospital or medical office • Preferred: medical terminology knowledge • Preferred: experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) • Ability to see and read information, documents, and monitors • Ability to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information quickly and accurately • Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and frequent computer use
