📋 Description

• Support healthcare information technology applications through planning, design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing support • Provide technical support, configuration, and maintenance for healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle • Analyze and diagnose stakeholder problems to determine resolutions • Gather, validate, and translate technology requirements into design and development specifications • Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain applications, workflows, processes, hardware, and related systems • Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs supporting business requirements • Partner with external vendors on third-party application integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting • Resolve issues, incidents, and problems according to service levels and department standards • Serve as project manager and perform project-management functions for small to mid-size projects • Collaborate with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors • Follow documentation and change-management standards • Develop training and knowledge materials for peers, end users, and team members • Configure and integrate electronic and mechanical hardware with software products • Develop and understand business reporting needs for end users • Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities • Develop and maintain testing plans and scripts • Attend team, project, and department meetings • Complete minimum viable products for demands in ServiceHub • Request project and enhancement resources through the ServiceHub Resource Plan process

🎯 Requirements

• EpicCare Ambulatory Certification • Experience supporting healthcare EHR • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word • In-depth business and application knowledge and experience • Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems • Ability to assess needs and determine the best approach through documentation • Problem definition and data collection skills • Ability to read and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write correspondence and process documents • Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field is preferred • Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval • Two years of work experience, or actively working toward a bachelor's degree with four years' experience in a related area • Required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification • Ability to operate computers and IT equipment • Ability to read computer monitors and documents • Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with evening and weekend on-call rotation • Ability to travel quarterly as required
