📋 Description

• Implement controls and processes for timely, complete, and accurate financial information • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant financial results and final financial statements with supporting schedules • Provide technical accounting leadership on acquisitions, revenue recognition, accruals, lender reporting, and other complex issues • Analyze and interpret accounting information to assess profitability, fiscal soundness, and operating effectiveness • Establish and maintain corporate accounting policies, processes, and internal controls • Oversee cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships • Optimize financial systems, workflows, and reporting capabilities • Support acquisition due diligence, purchase accounting, integration, and ongoing accounting for acquired businesses • Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bi-monthly payroll processes • Direct financial audits and maintain relationships with external auditors • Prepare tax distributions, returns, tax provisions, state/local tax filings, and extensions • Maintain local/state organizational compliance, annual reports, nexus filings, and third-party administrator relationships • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing accounting team • Issue timely 1099s for third-party consultants and taxable equity transactions • Prepare lender and third-party investor compliance certifications and related schedules • Report to the VP, Finance and serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and CPA or equivalent accounting designation • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility within a PE-backed, multi-state entity • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, consolidations, business combinations, purchase accounting, and technical accounting research • Strong knowledge of internal controls, ERP systems, financial reporting, and SOX compliance frameworks • Experience leading accounting operations within a complex ERP environment; Workday preferred • Ability to establish and maintain accounting policies, processes, and internal controls • Ability to partner with leaders, build cross-functional relationships, and communicate clearly across all organizational levels • Ability to drive business results, meet timelines and goals, support team members, provide resources, and develop creative solutions • Public Accounting / Big 4 experience preferred • Professional services experience preferred
