📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects and ensure product quality • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks • Conduct regression, integration, functional, and performance testing • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and user stories, providing input to improve design and testing efficiency • Identify, record, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution • Implement best practices for software testing processes and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and testing methodologies • Analyze testing outcomes, provide test results, and generate comprehensive test reports for management review • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code quality • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in testing and integrate them into the testing process as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation • Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
