📋 Description

• Analyze revenue cycle performance, payer mix, reimbursement structures, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities • Apply knowledge of Tribal health financing, including AIR/OMB encounter rates, Purchased/Referred Care, and IHS/638/ISDEAA structures, to shape client recommendations • Build financial and operational models to evaluate performance, fee structures, and business cases • Turn complex data into practical recommendations and client-ready presentations, proposals, and deliverables • Manage deliverables, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and contribute to business development and leading practices • Help Tribal health organizations improve billing, claims, payment, and reimbursement performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, healthcare, Tribal relations, economics, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience • At least one year of relevant consulting or healthcare industry experience • Working knowledge of revenue cycle best practices, hospital and ambulatory billing, third-party reimbursement, and applicable regulations and policies • Understanding of Tribal health reimbursement structures and payment models • Experience with electronic medical record and practice management systems • Strong financial and operational analysis skills, including developing models, identifying trends, and presenting recommendations to executive and operational audiences • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Strong communication, organization, judgment, relationship management, confidentiality, and adaptability • Up to 25% local and national travel required
