📋 Description

• Navigate hospitals and/or healthcare clinics to locate medical devices • Perform physical inventory, installing tracking devices and beacons • Test, evaluate, and perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment at the customer’s facility • Accurately document service actions in a digital work order • Demonstrate ‘customer is 1st’ culture by taking ownership, doing the right thing, and problem solving • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and safety inspections on a variety of medical equipment • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform basic repairs and adjustments to restore equipment functionality • Conduct physical inventory and asset tracking of medical devices within healthcare facilities • Install and maintain tracking devices and beacons to ensure full facility coverage • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including work orders, PM checklists, and service reports in the Service Information System • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements • Coordinate service schedules with clinical staff to minimize disruption to patient care • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and testing equipment required for service delivery • Provide basic end-user support and education on equipment operation and care • Follow established procedures to test, diagnose, recertify, and evaluate devices • Escalate complex repairs or safety concerns to senior technical staff or management • Travel to customer sites locally or nationally; assignments may require extended onsite stays

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with active auto insurance • Real ID (effective May 2025) or valid U.S. Passport • Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent military/technical training) • 1–3+ years of biomedical equipment service experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong technical training considered) • Experience performing preventative maintenance on clinical or hospital equipment • Familiarity with infusion or oncology-related devices preferred • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills • High School diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
