📋 Description

• Set up and configure Stripe accounts, products, prices, business settings, Billing, Invoicing, Tax, Checkout, and applicable Connect scenarios • Configure webhooks, event subscriptions, API keys, and test/live environments • Configure Stripe tax and invoicing behavior for downstream indirect tax determination and statutory e-invoicing • Run discovery sessions and translate functional requirements into Stripe configuration and integration specifications • Own the Stripe security and compliance posture, including PCI-DSS-aware flows, SCA/3DS, Radar, key rotation, and least-privilege access • Design, develop, and implement integrations between Stripe, ONESOURCE Indirect Tax, eInvoicing, ERP, billing, and finance systems • Build and maintain services consuming Stripe APIs and webhooks, transforming payment and invoice payloads for tax and e-invoicing pipelines • Map Stripe data objects to canonical IDT and eInvoicing formats such as UBL/Peppol and country-specific schemas • Write documented integration code and contribute to integration architecture • Create and execute unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA to resolve issues • Implement idempotency, retries, reconciliation, error handling, and observability for high-volume payment events • Evaluate solution options and integration project risks • Participate in project planning, design estimation, and status reporting • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration guides • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and disciplined software development processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3–5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations, with demonstrable experience configuring and integrating the Stripe platform • Proficient with Stripe APIs (Core/Admin API), webhooks, and the Stripe Dashboard • Hands-on experience with Stripe Billing, Invoicing, Checkout, and Stripe Tax • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP semantics, webhooks/event-driven design, JSON, and XML • Experience with SOAP where required by target systems • Proficient in at least one object-oriented/back-end language, such as Java, Node.js/JavaScript, or Python • SQL skills for data mapping and analysis • Solid grasp of PCI-DSS-aware payment flows, SCA/3D Secure, tokenization, and secure handling of secrets and API keys • Demonstrable experience with database concepts, data mapping, and integration patterns including idempotency, retries, and reconciliation • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Exceptional planning, organization, and time-management skills • Experience with Stripe Connect and custom reporting on Stripe reporting/Sigma data preferred • Working knowledge of indirect tax determination and statutory e-invoicing/e-reporting mandates preferred • Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE or comparable tax engines preferred • Experience integrating payment/commerce platforms with ERP, CRM, or billing systems preferred • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and serverless/event-driven architectures preferred • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred • Stripe certification or Stripe Partner Program credentials preferred
