📋 Description

• Meets coding productivity standards as established by the Coding Operations Director and Coding manager. • Ensures the accurate and complete assignment of Evaluation and Management, CPT, and ICD-10 CM codes that are supported by medical record documentation found in Outpatient Ancillary and Emergency Department encounters. • May perform additional duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent and completion of an AHIMA-approved coding or health information technology program. • Experience: At least one year of recent coding experience in an acute hospital. • Certification: RHIA, CCS, CPC or CPC-A certification completed upon start.
