📋 Description

• Develop and execute cross-business-unit FP&A operational strategies • Standardize processes, streamline workflows, improve reporting consistency, and enhance enterprise efficiency, transparency, and scalability • Review FP&A processes across all business units and identify inefficiencies and standardization opportunities • Facilitate recurring process-sharing meetings and align teams on best practices • Create recommendations, templates, and standard operating procedures • Enhance budgetary reporting structure and processes • Drive implementation of process improvements and track adoption • Own ad hoc and strategic projects including financial modeling, systems evaluations, and cross-functional analyses • Lead initiatives coordinating business-unit finance teams, corporate accounting, and corporate FP&A • Support and eventually own monthly consolidation of financial results, forecasts, budgets, and variance commentary • Ensure consistent templates, definitions, and terminology across business-unit submissions • Resolve data and template inconsistencies before executive reporting • Prepare investor updates, QBR materials, and external-facing financial communications with the CFO and VP, FP&A • Translate business-unit data into executive-ready financial narratives • Support Board-level presentations and coordinate business-unit input ahead of Board meetings • Prepare lender reporting packages and covenant compliance materials • Support ad hoc lender requests and analyses • Build relationships with FP&A leads across Corporate, Payer, Provider, Insights, and Pharmacy • Influence adoption of standardized processes without formal authority • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, mission statement, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required • 15+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related discipline required • 8+ years of demonstrated management experience required • Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to process improvement initiatives and driving change across teams required • Demonstrated understanding of accounting and finance practices and principles • Experience with budgets, forecasts, financial reports, pricing, and operational issues required • Prior exposure to Board, investor, or lender reporting preferred • Experience with accounting software, especially general ledger • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion SmartView preferred • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise narratives • Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple competing priorities independently • Strong leadership presence and ability to present to and influence executive decision-makers • Meticulous organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs • Ability to influence staff across different functional areas • Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand company products and processes • Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects • Ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines efficiently • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
