📋 Description

• Define, communicate, and drive the technical vision and strategy for the Enterprise Fulfillment team • Own the engineering roadmap and oversee technical and product decisions • Establish and champion production-services best practices and enterprise-grade engineering quality • Lead, coach, and grow a team of 10+ engineers building grocery-picking experiences • Drive recruiting and hiring efforts • Partner across an organization of approximately 50 engineers, R&D, business development, and retailer stakeholders • Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to build scalable grocery-picking solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience • 5+ years in engineering management • Track record of leading teams of 15+ engineers • Experience delivering complex consumer-facing or enterprise-facing products • Ability to create and execute strategic engineering roadmaps aligned with business objectives • Hands-on technical leadership at a senior or staff-equivalent level • Experience staffing, mentoring, developing, and performance-managing engineering teams • Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, engineering manager peers, and senior individual contributors • Structured and proactive communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership • Preferred: experience leading multiple teams or managing managers • Preferred: experience with mission-critical, high-availability business systems • Preferred: experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade software at scale • Preferred: familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Go, Swift, and/or Kotlin
