📋 Description

• Lead planning and high-quality technical execution of large, complex, highly visible engineering programs • Set project objectives and metric-based success criteria with cross-functional partners • Define project requirements and execution plans; manage program progress and outcomes • Communicate priorities, risks, and changes to stakeholders • Foster teamwork, collaboration, efficiency, and high-quality delivery • Suggest and drive organization-wide initiatives • Uphold and improve the operational excellence framework for retailer launches • Drive programs that enhance Instacart products, applications, platforms, and customer experiences • Evolve the Enterprise platform to meet retailer needs • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Design, Business Development, Product Operations, Sales Engineering, and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of post-graduation work experience in a technology field • Experience as a technical program manager, project manager, product manager, software engineer, or related technical professional • Ability to create functional specifications, establish program structure, and influence program strategy • Experience managing complex, multi-organization programs end-to-end through the software development lifecycle • Ability to distill information, communicate priorities and risks, and build stakeholder narratives • Ability to understand technical and execution problems, identify issues, and define preventive actions • Ability to build trust and partnerships with senior Engineering and Product leaders • Ability to operate independently and deliver milestones on time and within budget • Bachelor’s degree in a technology or engineering discipline • Master’s degree in a technology/engineering discipline preferred • Technical domain knowledge, architectural and strategic decision-making, program management processes, and e-commerce-at-scale experience preferred
