📋 Description

• Identify, influence, and enable adoption of Altera FPGA-based solutions at key customer accounts • Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers, FAEs, Factory Applications Engineers, Product Marketing, and Business Development • Build relationships with customer engineering teams to identify, develop, and expand opportunities • Use deep knowledge of the FPGA product portfolio to drive sales in established product lines and emerging markets • Articulate the value proposition of Altera FPGAs for specific customer applications • Assist customers with architecture definition, solution evaluation, and design and implementation using FPGAs, IP, and development tools • Develop and deliver product demonstrations • Participate in on-site customer visits to assist with product design and reviews • Ensure customer requirements are met throughout the design process • Facilitate rapid resolution of technical issues and maintain customer satisfaction • Analyze data to diagnose problems, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate customer issues • Provide feedback to manufacturing and product teams on product issues, future requirements, and market trends

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a hardware engineer • Experience in FPGA, ASIC, and/or digital design • Experience with FPGA development tools such as Quartus and Vivado • Experience with VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog, OpenCL, or high-level synthesis tools (HLS) • BSEE or related electrical/electronic degree • Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations • Post Bachelor’s degree (ways to stand out) • Experience in technical sales, applications, technical marketing, or technical product marketing (ways to stand out) • Additional industry experience in embedded SoC design, ASIC, ASSP, CPU, microcontrollers, microprocessor architecture, ARM-based processor solutions, board-level design, DSP, signal integrity, or related areas (ways to stand out)
