📋 Description

• Lead all accounting activities and support the company’s finance activities • Oversee reporting and operational accounting • Maintain the general ledger and financial books and records • Implement and oversee financial processes, policies, procedures, and controls • Drive monthly closing, consolidation, and account reconciliation processes • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable • Serve as primary interface with the external audit firm for the annual financial audit • Optimize accounting processes through internal business applications and automation • Drive systems implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement across accounting functions • Support HR with payroll administration and verification of variable and discretionary compensation • Work with management on budgeting and forecasting • Collaborate with leadership and functional management to promote service orientation and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience • 3+ years of Controller experience; equivalent experience as Assistant Controller at a medium to large enterprise may also be considered • FP&A experience preferred but not required • Excellent Excel skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Significant experience with QuickBooks • CPA and public accounting experience preferred but not required • Candidates must be located in the United States • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; InterPayments does not sponsor visas or employ individuals requiring work authorization outside the United States
