📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive insurance framework with Google’s in-house insurance team • Evaluate risk tolerance and guide leadership on insurance decisions and coverage strategies • Define and standardize processes for scalable insurance operations • Serve as primary contact between Intersect teams and Google’s insurance group • Translate technical project details into insurance requirements and coverage rationale • Ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders • Gather and synthesize technical data for insurance placement • Review contracts and provide standardized insurance language • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements across projects • Maintain the internal insurance data room and documentation • Track policy terms and coverage across entities and technologies • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance requests • Support premium reviews and internal audits • Facilitate claims processes with accurate documentation • Manage the insurance budget and premium forecasting • Evaluate cost versus coverage value • Act as subject matter expert for insurance-related strategies • Bridge Intersect’s technical and operational teams with Google’s in-house insurance department • Guide leadership on critical strategic insurance decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience in insurance coordination, risk management, or cross-functional roles • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset-heavy industries • Strong understanding of risk profiles across energy technologies and related insurance products • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and stakeholder coordination • Proficiency with G Suite and Slack • Candidates located within 60 miles of one of the listed hubs • Strong organizational and communication skills
