📋 Description

• Converse with advanced language models on real-world laboratory scenarios and theoretical microbiological questions • Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness • Capture reproducible error traces • Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics • Challenge language models on pathogen isolation, microbial culture, biosafety, and diagnostic workflow topics • Document failure modes to improve model reasoning

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in pathogen isolation • Microbial culture techniques • Enrichment and selective media • Aseptic and sterile protocols • Biosafety • Clinical microbiology • Diagnostic workflows • Knowledge of isolating bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic pathogens from clinical and environmental samples • Differential and selective plating • Colony morphology • Gram staining • Hemolysis patterns • Anaerobic culturing • Contamination control • Clear, metacognitive communication and ability to “show your work” • PhD in microbiology, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or a closely related life-science field is described as ideal, not required • Peer-reviewed publications signal fit • Hands-on pathogen isolation experience in clinical, research, or public health laboratories signals fit • Knowledge of biosafety levels BSL-1 to BSL-4 signals fit
