• The CAS will understand the unique objectives and needs of each customer • Achieve this by building, maintaining, and leveraging networks and relationships • Develop and execute effective business plans to meet customer and Ionis goals • Serve as a cross-functional teammate • Educate HCPs and office staff to raise FCS disease state awareness • Create positive prescribing experience through value added resourcing • Participate in conferences, congresses, and other scientific meetings • Gather insights to profile accounts and provide feedback to field leadership • Execute the brand strategic plans by developing customer focused territory strategic account plans • Build insight-driven focused tactics by understanding brand requirements • Certify on approved label, compliance training and all applicable customer engagement policies
• Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience in Pharma sales • Experience in New Product launches • Account-based selling • HCP and IDN engagement • Cross-functional field team coordination • Prior experience independently managing a sales territory • Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other sub-specialties that treat FCS patients • Injectable experience preferred • Familiarity with Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) community • Established relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts • Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies • Record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs
