📋 Description

• Provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations to emergency department and inpatient teams • Deliver consults for inpatient, emergency room, and emergency department settings • Treat patients ages 5+ in ED/ER consult settings • Work 13–16 shifts per month across day, mid-day, and nocturnist shifts • Collaborate with highly trained Iris PMHNPs through NP supervision • Work with multidisciplinary teams and multiple health systems across varying acuity levels • Support underserved communities by providing virtual behavioral health care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives using advanced and AI-supported tools • Coordinate with Iris Telehealth’s licensing, credentialing, IT, onboarding, and administrative support teams

🎯 Requirements

• Active medical license; TX license or GA license required and/or IMLC Letter of Qualification preferred • Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry • Board Certification Required • At least 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience • Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+ for ED/ER consults • Comfortable working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory • Full-time psychiatrists must be eligible for the $20K bonus • Weekend shifts required, with 1–2 weekend shifts per month • Active medical license in the U.S. is mandatory
