📋 Description

• Design, redesign, code, test, implement, and maintain web pages and sections of agency Internet and intranet websites • Create prototypes with graphic design, navigation, and layout options • Collaborate with attorneys, economists, senior management, administrative staff, IT support staff, and web team members on project goals, audiences, schedules, and deliverables • Establish website layout, design, formatting, and style guidelines • Review and track web metrics and analytics • Research, evaluate, and report on developments and trends in web design and web services • Present ideas and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior management • Train end users, web staff, and agency trainers on agency web services • Ensure web pages comply with Section 508 and 504 accessibility requirements, usability and information architecture best practices, and federal and agency policies • Implement, code, and test prototypes across browsers, operating systems, and devices • Create, organize, and edit content using plain-writing best practices • Support web content administrators and quality assurance analysts • Prepare and edit technical documentation including user manuals, job aids, help content, FAQs, policies, procedures, and guidance • Prepare organization charts, flow charts, brochures, newsletters, information sheets, and other documentation • Support government and contract staff, including web content analysts, software developers, quality assurance analysts, managers, and web support staff • Prepare multimedia training and guidance tutorials

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Section 508 / accessibility compliance • Familiarity with web analytics and reporting, such as Google Analytics or similar tools • Experience designing for government, enterprise, or regulated environments • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to explain design and content decisions clearly to non-technical audiences • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to obtain a US DOJ public trust clearance • Must be a US Citizen for purposes of obtaining federal security clearance • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working in a home office
