📋 Description

• Enter and manage installation opportunities in CRM to develop accurate monthly forecasts • Conduct site installation surveys to assess feasibility and plan execution in CRM • Produce scopes of work and customer-facing installation quotes in CRM • Coordinate with dispatchers and branch personnel to schedule installations in Microsoft Field Service while adhering to customer promise dates • Execute installations according to the scope of work, safety manuals, and programs • Follow the installation playbook from machine arrival at the customer site through successful startup • Manage the installation request inbox • Manage schedule and completion dates in CRM and communicate information to customers and branch leadership • Update final pricing in CRM opportunities to support financial objectives • Maintain current organizational, industry, and equipment knowledge • Communicate Hobart Service value propositions for future service products after the machine warranty expires • Maintain vehicles and handle installation material-handling equipment • Follow the company safe-driving policy and other applicable safety policies • Compile and summarize data for supervisors or branch managers to support customer-focused strategies and sales • Perform visual safety inspections of vehicles and equipment and report defects • Prioritize workloads, special tasks, and concurrent projects • Conduct site visits, compose quotes, and lead installation crews • Provide timely customer communication on installation updates • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 2 years of formal technical training and at least ten years of related experience • Equipment installation or similar experience • PC knowledge and suite of Microsoft applications • Ability to read and interpret standard service manuals, installation manuals, and mechanical diagrams • Basic math skills, including percentages and measurement conversions • Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel • Ability to read and understand safety guidelines • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance • Ability to climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder • Occasional roof access through extension or fixed ladders greater than 20 feet • Extensive walking 3–5 miles per day • Extensive driving 5–6 hours per day • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, push/pull, and work in tight and confined spaces • Ability to operate motor vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, and power tools • Ability to work normal business hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and extended hours as needed • Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines • Travel up to 50% of the time
