📋 Description

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, customer billing, cash application, and general ledger activity • Prepare routine journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations • Support the monthly close process by preparing schedules and resolving routine accounting items • Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks Online and related systems • Monitor AR aging, support customer collections, and ensure cash receipts are applied accurately • Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts • Coordinate with internal teams on vendor invoices, expense coding, and other routine accounting matters • Help transition recurring accounting activities from external accounting resources into the internal Accounting team • Maintain accounting documentation and support improvements to recurring workflows • Provide accounting schedules and supporting documentation for tax, audit, and compliance needs as requested • Report to the Accounting Manager and help strengthen and scale accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting • Strong understanding of US GAAP • Hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, AP, AR, billing, and cash application • Experience with QuickBooks Online or a comparable accounting system • Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills • Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription billing concepts • Data-driven and analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate • Highly organized and comfortable managing recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally • Process-oriented and comfortable documenting and improving workflows • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Based in the USA • Comfortable working core Eastern Time business hours
