📋 Description

• Perform assigned QA audits utilizing department methodology and workpapers • Execute audit engagements using standardized checklists and/or inquiry-based audit procedures • Conduct complex reviews, investigations, and a variety of audits to improve processes supporting M&E operations • Perform audits supporting the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.) • Perform root cause analysis with stakeholder input and develop and implement effective corrective actions • Monitor corrective-action progress and determine final implementation effectiveness • Maintain audit results and findings in the QA database • Perform follow-up and validate audit corrective actions • Utilize the Safety Management System (SMS) and remain current with SMS training requirements • Partner with the Manager QA and Director QA to define the long-term QA schedule strategy according to risk assessments and C.A.S.E. assignments • Communicate audit scope and results effectively across all organizational levels • Promote risk-management awareness and operational safety assurance • Facilitate development of tools and techniques that strengthen risk management and internal controls • Support external reviews and business and aviation-specific projects, including annual external audits, Department of Defense surveys, and IATA Operational Safety Audits (IOSA)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in the airline industry, auditing experience, or related area, in lieu of this degree • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, operating policies, and procedures • Ability to understand, audit, and document complex business and operational processes • Ability to effectively scope audit projects and contribute to planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up phases • C.A.S.E Qualified Auditor • Strong ability to balance and effectively manage multiple projects/demands • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat • Frequent travel is required, including international travel • A valid passport • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum age of 18 • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
