📋 Description

• Assist the Chief of Staff in operational execution, program management, strategy and planning, and financial management • Support operational execution and program management for the Chief of Staff office • Create tools and reference materials for internal and external meetings and commitments • Support resource allocation, staffing decisions, and problem-solving • Coordinate complex multi-program initiatives • Serve as a strategic thought-partner to the Chief of Staff on strategy and portfolio development • Plan and facilitate ongoing internal proposal coordination meetings • Build agendas and document and communicate next steps to stakeholders • Create impact-focused portfolio goals and strategies to support portfolio fundability • Work with SVPs and teams to create concept papers, proposals, and other collateral • Manage the Chief of Staff office finances and annual portfolio/department budget process • Liaise with Program leadership and Sponsored Programs/Accounting on project budget development and monitoring • Serve as the Chief of Staff's delegate in Bill.com, Fyle, and Vena • Expand strategic intra-organizational partnerships and collaboration • Coordinate the Program Leads meeting • Track Chief of Staff team issues through resolution • Coordinate and support strategic initiatives • Assess inquiries for the Chief of Staff office and determine courses of action • Bring content expertise to projects and ensure alignment with best practices • Support the Meadows Institute's policy activities • Liaise with staff on cross-organizational project efforts • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, public policy, or related field • 5 to 10 years of directly related, professional experience in a related role • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues • Ability to overcome geographic and other potential communication hindrances • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines • Capacity to think strategically, critically, and respond analytically • Flexibility in working with new issues, topics, and approaches • Preferred work location in Texas • Must show proof of eligibility to work in the United States • Some duties may require access to reliable personal transportation
