📋 Description

• Partner directly with colleges and universities to support program delivery and system-level improvement • Provide on-site or virtual coaching to faculty, administrators, and staff on student mental health support and alternatives to exclusionary discipline strategies • Help education institutions identify, implement, and evaluate evidence-based and best-practice mental health interventions and supports • Troubleshoot operational, implementation, and systems-level challenges, including student engagement, staffing gaps, and program rollout issues • Advance the Minding College Minds Postsecondary Mental Health Framework for comprehensive, implementation-focused campus mental health systems • Provide leadership to and management of assigned project teams • Draft updates, reports, and recommendations for project deliverables • Incorporate education partners’, colleagues’, and subject-matter experts’ perspectives into project design and implementation • Contribute to development efforts, including identifying funding opportunities, generating project ideas, conducting research, and assisting with proposal preparation and submission tracking • Build relationships with schools, higher education, and cross-sector partners and serve as a trusted advisor on student mental health program implementation • Support K-12 projects as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, policy, Education, or a related field • Direct experience in higher education systems • Ability to translate research and best practices for implementation across varied community settings • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience designing and developing learning materials and trainings • Experience facilitating external meetings with varied stakeholders • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including overcoming geographic and communication barriers • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines • Strategic, critical, and analytical thinking ability • Flexibility when working with new issues, topics, and approaches • Preferred: 7+ years of professional-level experience in a related role • Preferred: Experience implementing student mental health, campus climate, MTSS, crisis response, alternatives to exclusionary discipline, and/or school improvement initiatives • Preferred work location is Texas • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must submit a cover letter within the resume attachment
