JHU EEHPC is the Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Lab at Johns Hopkins University, led by Tinoosh Mohsenin. The lab focuses on designing medical, health, and wearable devices and developing tiny, energy-efficient wearable and mobile computing systems through cross-layer approaches spanning algorithms, architecture, hardware, and system integration. 📋 Description

• Support systems and technical operations for Student Accounts • Support student billing systems, tuition calculation, system integrations, and related technologies • Provide functional and technical support for system configuration, production processes, data integrity, and new functionality and enhancements • Research and resolve billing and system discrepancies • Troubleshoot technical and data issues • Support system testing and ensure accuracy and reliability of student financial technologies • Support technologies related to student billing, payments, refunds, collections, tax reporting, and other student financial activity • Serve as liaison between Student Accounts and University Information Systems • Translate business and operational needs into system requirements • Define requirements and acceptance criteria • Coordinate user-acceptance testing • Manage and prioritize JIRA requests • Support technical projects and system enhancements • Assist with triage and root-cause analysis of production issues • Elicit, define, and document business process needs and functional requirements • Identify system, process, data, cross-team, and dependency impacts • Facilitate customer requests, evaluate demands, prioritize work, and coordinate issue resolution • Apply a lean-agile mindset • Lead root-cause discussions and recommend approaches and trade-offs • Partner with vendors and UIS on software solution and service-contract exploration, selection, and implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field • Three years of related experience • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, subject to the JHU equivalency formula • Ability to explain basic technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Strong logic and reasoning capabilities • Ability to write current-state and future workflows • Interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with diverse groups at various organizational levels • Clear and effective articulation • Superior listening, oral, and written skills • Detailed understanding of software development life cycle phases • Ability to develop test cases and oversee user-acceptance testing • Successful candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check • Must comply with Johns Hopkins University's seasonal flu vaccine requirement, subject to exceptions • Master's Degree preferred • Four years of related work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility preferred • Higher education, project management, accounts receivable/billing, and document imaging systems experience desired; OnBase preferred
