• Work remotely 20–40 hours per week from mid-October through mid-March during the 2026–2027 admissions cycle • Complete thorough training led by admissions staff • Perform comprehensive evaluations of first-year applicant information, including academic criteria, activities, essays, recommendations, and additional materials • Consider each student's context during application review • Support preparation of files for the transfer review process • Complete optional projects based on evaluation and selection needs • Communicate as needed with the admissions reader management team • Meet weekly numerical targets for files read
• Bachelor's Degree • One year of related experience • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, subject to the JHU equivalency formula • Familiarity with high school transcripts and curricula, both domestic and international, preferred • Strong analytical and reading skills • Ability to work well independently and ask questions when necessary • Excellent time management and organization • Ability to meet strict deadlines, including weekly numerical targets for files read • Ability to maintain communication with the admissions reader management team • Utmost confidentiality and professionalism regarding the application review process and applicant information • Must have a private computer, suitable workspace, and reliable internet • Current CBO, independent, school, or admissions counselors are not eligible due to potential conflict of interest • Applicants with a child currently applying to college are ineligible • Successful candidate subject to a pre-employment background check
