📋 Description

• Develop, grow, and mature central management of America's Construction Services categories, including Furniture, Flooring & Equipment (FF&E), and Moving • Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term category strategies aligned with business objectives • Execute category strategies and manage category performance • Deliver financial targets and identify cost and operational efficiencies • Create strategic sourcing solutions, manage RFPs and quotations, analyze bids, and recommend suppliers • Liaise with internal stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation, and compliance • Develop category plans with supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries, and market insights • Negotiate and implement contracting strategies • Rationalize the supply base and develop strategic supply partner frameworks • Manage service-provider segmentation and supplier relationships • Conduct supplier performance reviews and use Supplier Relationship Management tools • Analyze supply-chain data, identify risks, and provide mitigation solutions • Share market intelligence, best practices, and category expertise • Support PDS Sourcing & Procurement initiatives, training, SharePoint oversight, and Synergy program adoption • Support PDS Sourcing associates and provide functional leadership and peer-group alignment • Develop and implement policies and procedures and manage stakeholder expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field • Minimum 5 years of procurement-related experience • Construction category (furniture, flooring, etc) experience a plus • MBA a plus • Exemplary knowledge of contracts and contract language, with ability to negotiate Terms and Conditions, pricing, and strategic pricing • Subject matter expertise for assigned building and construction categories • Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments • Expertise in sourcing with demonstrated ability to manage change • Proven ability to facilitate strategic supplier relationships and work with senior business executives and procurement leadership • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills • Collaborative and influencing style focused on teamwork • Ability to sell and present initiatives and/or new ideas • Ability to work on a regional scale and across different time zones • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including working with large amounts of data and building reports • Ability to learn and utilize new technologies • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
