📋 Description

• Manage, analyze, and optimize utility accounts across a diverse property portfolio • Process and validate electricity, gas, water, and waste utility invoices • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, overcharges, and billing errors • Conduct post-audit reviews for pricing accuracy and contract compliance • Manage utility account setups, transfers, closures, utility type changes, and meter updates • Ensure timely payment processing and maintain utility vendor relationships • Coordinate with third-party bill pay vendors on account setup, invoice receipt, authorization documentation, and account closures • Monitor disconnection notices, billing exceptions, payment workflows, past-due balances, late-fee risks, and disconnection risks • Track budget balances and support quarterly reforecasting • Process refund checks and returned deposits with proper documentation • Maintain utility account databases with account numbers, costs, consumption data, and at least 12 months of historical records • Incorporate account changes into utility budgets and forecasts • Generate utility cost, consumption, and savings reports • Analyze bills for consumption anomalies, cost irregularities, and benchmarking opportunities • Partner with sustainability, facilities, and finance teams on utility inquiries and initiatives • Support facility management teams with site and account setup requests • Identify cost-reduction and operational-efficiency opportunities • Coordinate with utility vendors on issue resolution, audits, and regulatory compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Energy Management, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of Utility Bill Data Management experience within large operations • Experience coordinating with third-party bill pay vendors and vendor management platforms preferred • Experience managing or overseeing small teams • Strong communication, presentation, project management, and problem-solving skills • Experience working with multinational clients and diverse teams • Operates with urgency and takes a proactive, self-directed approach • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • This position does not provide visa sponsorship
