📋 Description

• Own the Global Master Data Management data landscape • Continuously assess and harmonize data needs to support business objectives • Own the Global Master Data Management systems landscape • Lead the managed team and partners delivering systems-landscape priorities • Provide leadership and mentorship to Global Master Data Management associates • Ensure team members have the technical and business skills needed to meet objectives • Maintain partner relationships and develop their MDM knowledge • Establish and maintain metrics to drive process improvements across MDM domains and environments • Make independent decisions and present process/policy recommendations to DePuy Synthes Information Technologies leadership • Partner with internal teams on requirements definition and gathering for programs interfacing with enterprise data warehouses, enterprise data lake, and business solution environments • Identify and resolve deficiencies in department systems and data capabilities • Develop and lead systems improvement initiatives across MDM systems • Engage executive leaders, directors, and managers in planning and executing improvement efforts • Lead support for tools used to access data in MDM applications, including education, training, and tool development/enhancement • Communicate issues and opportunities to the next management level • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, legal, regulatory, and company policies • Perform other assigned duties • Scale the DePuy Synthes MDM ecosystem into a best-in-class medallion architecture • Ensure a high-quality data environment and enable data-driven organizational insights

🎯 Requirements

• BS, BA degree (Business/IT related preferred), MBA or MS • Minimum 10+ years work experience required, preferably in related field • Prior people management experience required • Experience creating an Enterprise or Business-specific Master Data Management Strategy supporting multifaceted data architecture, data governance framework and AI data readiness • Track record of leading or mentoring teams to achieve quality and process improvements • Experience developing training materials and instructing others at all levels • Strong project/account management and testing strategy skills • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines • Proven success working with outsource partners and leading projects on-time and on budget • Experience with Master Data Management, Supply Chain, R&D, Corporate, and Commercial Systems • Strong business acumen and technical skills • Strong organizational, communication, social, and interpersonal skills • Results-oriented problem-solving/resolution skills • Critical thinking skills • Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure and as part of a project team • Ability to work with senior management and exercise independent discernment in business decisions • Preferred: analyst experience; call center support structure/process experience; process improvement tools such as SFE or LEAN/Six Sigma; query and report writing tools; Incentive Compensation Systems; PC software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Windows
