📋 Description

• Lead a Dermatology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) regional team • Provide scientific, clinical, research, and educational support to healthcare professionals and internal partners • Partner with the MSL Head to set and drive regional strategy and translate Medical Affairs strategy into priorities, objectives, and execution • Conduct routine strategy reviews with MSL direct reports using data, insights, AI tools, and performance trends • Provide coaching, development, feedback, field observation, and career planning to direct reports • Execute field Medical Affairs programs, product launches, proactive initiatives, and HCP engagement • Ensure direct reports demonstrate scientific expertise, presentation skills, professional credibility, stakeholder influence, adaptive communication, and scientific storytelling • Stay current on scientific information and disease states and coach the team • Ensure collection and analysis of actionable Medical Insights to inform strategy, evidence generation, and lifecycle planning • Lead change through professionalism, performance, integrity, resilience, accountability, and engagement • Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and cross-functional partners • Identify solutions and recommend actions to the MSL Head using critical thinking, risk assessment, and judgment • Provide oversight for regulatory and healthcare compliance and reinforce ethical decision-making • Manage regional MSL team functions, performance, training, development, capacity, field activity, metrics, territory plans, projects, workload, and priorities • Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse high-performing team • Provide career and succession planning • Complete administrative duties including expense approvals, team metric reports, compliance documentation, and operational reporting • Communicate MSL team achievements, insights, and impact to internal partners and leadership • Lead compliant cross-functional collaboration with field partners • Participate in business planning and oversee training and execution of permissible field activities • Develop and execute regional and organized-provider strategies with the MSL Head • Lead assigned scientific projects and programs and translate field intelligence into strategic recommendations • Develop field scientific strategies aligned to medical priorities and lifecycle needs • Participate in or lead cross-functional and company initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of a master’s degree is required • PharmD, PhD, MD highly preferred • Minimum of 8 years required • A minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience is required • A minimum of 2 years of MSL or equivalent experience is required • Clinical/research experience preferred • TA-related experience preferred • Previous people management responsibility preferred • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape analysis • Must live in the assigned region and in close proximity to an airport • Regional travel of approximately 60%, including overnight travel, periodic national scientific congresses, and key strategic/scientific meetings at corporate offices in Horsham, PA/Titusville, NJ • A valid US driver’s license • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI • Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment
