• Lead a GU Medical Science Liaison regional team providing scientific, clinical, research, and educational support to healthcare professionals and internal partners • Partner with the MSL Head to set regional strategy, priorities, objectives, and execution plans • Conduct routine strategy reviews with MSL direct reports using data, insights, AI tools, and performance trends • Provide support, coaching, feedback, development, field observation, and career planning to direct reports • Execute field Medical Affairs programs, including product launches, proactive initiatives, and healthcare professional engagement • Ensure MSLs demonstrate scientific expertise, presentation skills, professional credibility, stakeholder influence, adaptive communication, and scientific storytelling • Stay current on scientific information and disease states and coach the team accordingly • Ensure collection, analysis, and communication of high-quality Medical Insights to inform strategy, evidence generation, and lifecycle planning • Lead change through resilience, accountability, professionalism, performance, and integrity • Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and cross-functional partners • Identify solutions and recommend actions to the MSL Head using critical thinking, risk assessment, and sound judgment • Provide oversight for regulatory and healthcare compliance, ethical decision-making, accountability, and integrity • Manage the regional MSL team according to business plans and company directives • Drive performance through field visits and 1:1s; oversee training, development, capacity, field activity, metrics, and territory planning • Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse, high-performing team and provide succession planning • Complete administrative duties, expense approvals, metric reports, compliance documentation, and operational reporting • Communicate team achievements, insights, and impact to internal partners and leadership • Collaborate with field partners and participate in business planning across brands and Medical Affairs • Develop and execute regional and organized-provider strategies using field insights from KOLs and specialists • Lead scientific projects and programs, translating field intelligence into strategic recommendations • Develop field scientific strategies aligned to medical priorities and lifecycle needs • Participate in or lead cross-functional and company initiatives • Establish scalable processes that improve alignment, efficiency, compliance, and cross-functional execution
• A minimum of a master’s degree is required • PharmD, PhD, or MD highly preferred • Minimum of 8 years required • Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required • Minimum of 2 years of MSL or equivalent experience required • Clinical/research experience preferred • TA-related experience preferred • Previous people management responsibility preferred • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape analysis • Must live in the assigned South Central region and in close proximity to an airport • Ability to travel regionally approximately 60%, including overnight travel, national scientific congresses, and strategic/scientific meetings at the corporate office in Horsham, PA/Titusville, NJ • Valid US driver’s license • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI • Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment
