📋 Description

• Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy IT and Clinical Informatics to select, implement, and evaluate automated technology and computerization of pharmacy-related patient care activities, including decision support • Coordinate drug delivery and pharmaceutical care with external departments • Build, implement, integrate, and maintain pharmacy automation and technology • Assure safe and appropriate medication use • Test integrated applications • Evaluate and test system upgrades, new functionality, and pharmacy-practice-related program changes • Facilitate resolution of pharmacy technology, decision support, and database management issues • Provide pharmacy technology in-service education for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and external department staff • Support workflow analysis and training during new EMR go-lives • Troubleshoot charge errors in Siemens or Epic for Revenue Cycle and Revenue Management • Update the Charge Description Master for medications, including descriptions, coding, and charges • Support the 340b Director with charge and dispense information sent from electronic systems to the 340b accumulator

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required) • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience (Required) • Licensed Pharmacist • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Science (Preferred) • Teamwork • Ability to work day shifts • Scheduled for 40 hours per week
