📋 Description

• Manages the daily operations associated with the Actuarial Services Department • Provides leadership in developing and modeling impact of strategic initiatives, product development, pricing, regulatory reforms and legislation, rate filings, trend analysis, revenue optimization, forecasting, reserving, data management and analytics for all product lines • Calculates claim and premium deficiency reserves while working with auditors to arrive at mutually acceptable conclusions • Manages the pricing of products, including building sound pricing models and tools • Guides the forecasting, analytic, underwriting, and performance monitoring functions • Serves as subject matter expert for regulatory reform and legislative changes • Supports strategic initiatives in the form of ideas, market research, financial modeling, business plan development, and implementation • Supports data management by providing direction and oversight to IT teams for appropriate data aggregation, partitioning, and extract rules to meet analytic and reporting needs • Collaborates with departments to ensure accurate and timely operations • Provides guidance and support to upcoming actuarial talent

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Required) • Bachelor's Degree-Actuarial Science (Preferred) • Minimum of 6 years-Related work experience (Required) • Minimum of 2 years-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required)
