📋 Description

• Provide nursing triage services and health advice to patients by phone and in person when applicable • Assess patient acuity and determine the need for medical support • Provide diagnostic testing results and education to ensure continuity and quality of care • Perform patient assessments via phone and document complaints, symptoms, history, pharmacy, and contact information using established protocols • Initiate and coordinate emergency treatment when necessary • Prioritize urgent telephone calls and report pertinent information to triage providers • Educate patients and families • Schedule or facilitate emergency appointments • Coordinate patient care and requests across departments, specialties, sites, and external organizations • Execute and document patient and customer communications • Review and reinforce provider instructions and explain medical conditions • Manage patient concerns using clinical protocols and service recovery techniques • Complete and route patient documentation in a timely manner • Assist with orientation of new personnel • Suggest process improvements and offer solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (required) • Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania (required) • Basic Life Support Certification (required) • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience • Proficient computer skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Windows, and Teams • BSN preferred • ICU, ED, or critical care experience strongly preferred • Specialty certification preferred • Ability to work rotating days and nights, including 7a–7:30p or 7p–7:30a shifts • Availability for every other weekend and holiday rotation • Travel may be required for orientation, training, meetings, or other business needs
