📋 Description

• Complete charge reconciliation according to predetermined policies • Ensure all charges are processed timely and accurately • Analyze and reconcile physician and hospital-based services provided in clinical or outreach facilities • Work with Clinical Operations staff to capture revenue timely • Identify trends, omissions, shortfalls, and issues affecting accurate charge or data capture • Gather, monitor, review, and analyze reconciliation data reports for assigned Institute Revenue Hub Dashboards • Report trends and issues to the Manager and team members • Gather reconciliation data for other team members and provide detailed summaries of findings • Maintain communication with management and senior team members • Collaborate with appropriate personnel to resolve issues and escalate ongoing problems to the Manager • Compare Electronic Medical Records (EMR) with professional and hospital billing to ensure accurate coding and billing practices • Support audits of Revenue Capture policies and procedures for compliance with published protocols • Coordinate Revenue Management activities with other departments and areas within Geisinger • Provide coverage for other team members to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition • Ensure all billable services are accurately captured in the appropriate billing system

🎯 Requirements

• Pennsylvania residency required for this role • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required) • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Required) • Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained • Associate’s Degree may count as 2 years of experience; Bachelor’s Degree may count as 4 years of experience • Cable modem with high-speed internet; DSL, wireless cellular service, and satellite service are not permitted • Minimum internet speed: 25 MBPS upload and 75 MBPS download • Ping below 150 ms required • Jitter below 30 ms required • Computer must connect to the internet via Ethernet cable; Wi-Fi is not permitted unless connected through a VPN • Skills in communication, computer literacy, and teamwork
