📋 Description

• Perform professional and/or hospital billing and collection functions for clinical service lines • Handle secondary collections, cash posting, accounts receivable resolution, adjustments, credit balance resolution, revenue enhancement, and cash flow • Bill and collect from third-party insurance payers • Adjudicate claims and manage a portfolio of accounts for successful monthly claim resolution • Analyze, identify, reduce, and resolve revenue enhancement and credit balance issues • Execute revenue management activities cost-effectively and efficiently • Coordinate revenue management activities with other functions and third-party payers • Communicate billing, insurance follow-up, cash flow, cash application, profitability, customer service, accounts receivable, and revenue management results to leadership and senior management • Participate in strategic plan development when required • Develop, implement, and direct quality initiatives for continuous process improvement • Monitor departmental operations, operational efficiency, performance targets, and quality targets • Provide supervisors and managers with analysis of identified trends and issues

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience required • Communication skills • Computer literacy • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in financial services • Teamwork • Ability to work with professional and/or hospital billing and collection functions • Ability to work with third-party insurance payers and accounts receivable • Must be a Pennsylvania resident • Does not qualify for J-1 waiver
