📋 Description

• Conduct research under the supervision of a research faculty member • Serve as a technical or intellectual resource to the assigned work group • Potentially assume responsibility for a specific topic within the faculty member’s research program • Develop and lead research projects within the supervising faculty member’s research scope • Gather preliminary data for grant applications • Complete objectives of funded external grants • Prepare completed work for publication • Contribute to writing grant applications and manuscripts • Submit authored grants with supervisor permission • Perform literature searches to support research projects and procedures • Determine experimental design, collect data, perform calculations, and analyze results • Review research or data controls and validate research results • Maintain records of research purpose, methods, results, and conclusions • Potentially oversee support personnel • Participate in research meetings and formal seminars • Present research to extramural audiences at national meetings and academic institutions

🎯 Requirements

• Doctoral Degree required • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience required • Skills in Reference Content, Research Analysis, Research And Development Function, Research Documents, and Research Methodologies • Ability to conduct research under the supervision of a research faculty member • Ability to develop and lead research projects • Ability to gather preliminary data for grant applications and complete objectives of funded external grants • Ability to contribute to writing grant applications and manuscripts • Ability to perform literature searches and develop protocols, projects, or grant applications • Ability to determine experimental design, collect data, perform calculations, and analyze results • Ability to review research or data controls and validate research results • Ability to maintain appropriate research records • Ability to present and discuss research at meetings and seminars
