📋 Description

• Lead analysis of large-scale cancer and germline multi-omics datasets • Extract, curate, and analyze large-scale real-world data from EHRs, claims data, and patient registries • Design and execute real-world evidence studies supporting clinical, commercial, and regulatory objectives • Integrate omics, clinical, demographic, and other multimodal datasets while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality • Develop, train, and deploy AI and machine learning models, including deep learning, NLP, and ensemble methods • Use NLP and LLMs to extract structured insights from clinical notes, pathology reports, and other unstructured data • Oversee RWD and genomics projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, high-quality delivery • Collaborate with R&D, Data Science, Business Development, Medical Affairs, Product Management, Engineering, clinicians, and other stakeholders • Present complex RWE analyses clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Prepare detailed reports and publications • Monitor advances in genomics and bioinformatics and develop new analytical methods and technologies • Define project goals, report progress, discuss findings, and liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field • At least 10 years of relevant experience • Proven expertise in bioinformatics and cancer genomics • Expert knowledge of mapping, variant calling, CNV analysis, and statistical methods • Experience managing, querying, and analyzing massive-scale genomic and healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, or R, plus data visualization tools • Proficiency in predictive analytics, advanced machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras • Understanding of real-world clinical data, including EHRs, claims data, patient registries, and health surveys • Familiarity with common data models such as OMOP • Experience using NLP/LLMs to parse unstructured clinical data • Ability to interpret clinical endpoints and understand patient cohorts • Excellent project management skills and a record of leading successful projects • Experience managing one or more direct or indirect reports • Exceptional communication and written documentation skills for technical, clinical, and non-technical audiences • Experience collaborating with clinicians, scientists, biostatisticians, regulatory teams, and other stakeholders • Additional germline genetics expertise related to organ health and prenatal health is a significant plus • Knowledge of translational medicine and/or early discovery in biotech or pharmaceuticals is a plus
