📋 Description

• Assess and analyze students’ academic records, transcripts, and prior learning experiences to determine applicability of earned credits toward degree requirements • Evaluate transfer credits, military credits, and other forms of prior learning in compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards • Review transcripts, credits earned, degree requirements, and academic documents to determine degree completion • Maintain and update student Degree Progress Audits (DPAs) in Anthology • Analyze prior academic coursework and apply earned credits within students’ DPAs • Assist with development and maintenance of SIS configurations supporting accurate and automated credit evaluation • Apply institutional policies and articulation agreements to assess credit equivalence and course applicability • Maintain accurate records and update student records in the student information system • Provide guidance to students, advisors, and faculty regarding transfer credit policies and degree requirements • Identify and resolve discrepancies in transfer evaluations with academic departments • Process evaluations timely to support enrollment, academic planning, and graduation timelines • Communicate with students regarding degree completion and the option to confer a degree • Report weekly evaluation progress and student response rates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 2+ years in evaluating credits/degree conferrals • 2+ years of experience in the Registrar Department • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Ensures accuracy in audits and compliance checks • Works effectively with multiple departments • Clearly communicates and provides guidance and support to others • Strong attention to detail • Ability to assess compliance trends, identify risks, and recommend improvements • Experience with platforms and Student Information Systems (PeopleSoft) • Ability to work independently and efficiently • No travel required
