📋 Description

• Teach and develop online or onsite courses in behaviorism and philosophical foundations, concepts and principles of behavior analysis, measurement and data interpretation, experimental design, ethics, behavior assessment, behavior-change procedures, interventions, personnel supervision and management, and professional practice in ABA • Maintain pedagogical and subject matter expertise • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for diverse learners • Ensure course and program practices align with compliance and accreditation standards • Adhere to National University’s academic integrity policy • Maintain a productive scholarship agenda suitable to a teaching university • Engage in scholarly activities for professional growth • Participate in professional development • Participate in curriculum oversight, shared governance, and the student experience • Serve on committees and engage in community activities promoting program outreach and university goals • Participate in program meetings and advisory boards to integrate best practices and strategic initiatives • Continuously improve BACB Pathway 2-aligned graduate coursework • Mentor students, complete coursework attestation, and advance the program through scholarship and service

🎯 Requirements

• Terminal degree (Ph.D., EdD, or PsyD) in Applied Behavioral Analysis or related discipline required to qualify for Assistant Professor rank • Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or a related discipline required to qualify for the Professor of Practice rank • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience required to qualify for the Professor of Practice rank • Minimum of 3 years of teaching/training experience required to qualify for the Professor of Practice rank • Active Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing • Demonstrated record of, or potential for excellence in, teaching and scholarship • Commitment to serving a diverse adult student body • Background check required • Cover letter, curriculum vita, and statement of teaching experience required for full consideration
