📋 Description

• Own the accounting function end-to-end • Drive the chart of accounts • Set the monthly close standard • Lead technical accounting • Deliver decision-grade reporting • Own tax compliance • Lead 409A valuations and equity compliance • Build controls and own audit readiness • Run the operating layer of finance

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience • 3+ years as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Manager • CPA (strongly preferred) • Big 4 audit foundation (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC preferred) • Hands-on ERP expertise (Sage Intacct or NetSuite) • Chart of accounts design experience • Deep technical accounting fluency (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718) • Tax compliance experience • 409A and equity accounting experience • Experience in healthcare or health tech preferred • Genuine AI fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) • Demonstrated close and reporting automation
