📋 Description

• Deliver direct care for members with opioid use disorder through group visits, individual sessions, and Initial Provider Evaluations • Manage a panel of members as a continuity provider, reviewing care plans and medications • Prescribe medications for opioid use disorder and other approved medications • Provide coverage for makeup groups, individual sessions, initial evaluations, and other providers • Coordinate with community providers and agencies • Answer medical questions, provide cross-coverage, and participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings • Participate in the urgent prescription on-call schedule, typically one Saturday per month for 2–3 hours • Complete accurate same-day medical documentation and maintain confidential HIPAA-compliant records • Manage 10–20 contracted providers and/or up to 4 FTE staff providers • Serve as the primary contact for medical concerns and escalations • Support provider onboarding, training, education, performance improvement, and change management • Conduct chart reviews and direct care observations and provide feedback • Assist with new protocols, workflows, care pathways, and clinical-outcome initiatives • Provide middle-management support and collaborate with the Provider Support Manager and Operations Director

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unencumbered APRN or PA medical license in the state(s) of hire where Groups Recover Together operates • Appropriate behavioral health or addiction medicine NPI taxonomy, or willingness to adjust the taxonomy • Active DEA registration with a practice address in the state(s) of hire • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested • No background issues that could limit state licensing or credentialing • Active board certification(s) • Willingness to become credentialed with government and private health plans in network with Groups Recover Together • Ability and willingness to see members in person at pre-agreed locations • Minimum 1 year of experience managing opioid use disorder with buprenorphine • Completion of the minimum 8-hour SAMHSA training • At least 2 years of experience in team-based care with behavioral health providers • At least 2 years of experience with a similar member population, preferably in primary care or behavioral health • Reliable internet and telephone service, with at least 10M download and 5M upload speeds • Strong Wi-Fi signal from the remote work location • Ability to use telehealth effectively • EMR fluency • Spreadsheet and basic data analysis proficiency • Ability to follow clinical policies, procedures, practice guidelines, Professional Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and applicable laws • Ability to meet pre-employment and state-specific background screening, drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid, and license/credential verification requirements as applicable • Recovery-sensitive behavior and commitment to harm reduction and member-centered care • Professional written and verbal communication, discretion, independent work, leadership, coaching, and ability to work in group medical visits
