📋 Description

• Write participant emails and texts (“Chase” messages) that guide participants toward the next program action • Write copy for live events, including run-of-show scripts, slide text, and sample chat messages • Research candidates, elections, and issues for event video scripts and manage them through editing and approval • Write social media copy, including captions, posts, sample comments, and direct messages • Write copy for Rally, including sign-up forms, election explainers, and action instructions • Create and update an FAQ bank with clear answers to common participant questions • Turn complex policy and voting information into clear, compelling action-oriented copy • Adapt existing templates and past materials for different audiences, formats, tones, and program moments • Use Notion, Canva, Google Workspace, and Slack to collaborate and deliver work on time • Take on additional responsibilities as program needs change

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience writing copy, ideally in organizing, advocacy, campaigns, nonprofits, or another mission-driven setting • Strong writing and editing skills with sharp attention to detail • Ability to make complicated information simple, accessible, and exciting • Ability to adapt tone and voice across audiences, formats, and program moments • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments and juggling multiple deadline-driven projects • Comfort with Notion, Canva, Google Workspace, and Slack, or ability to learn them quickly • Access to a computer and reliable internet • 2–3 writing samples required with the application • Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends • Availability for an anticipated six-day workweek during the final stretch from October through Election Day
