📋 Description

• Prepare project estimates by reviewing and analyzing RFP’s, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation. • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, and materials. • Create Bills of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects. • Identify potential risks related to scope, cost, manufacturability, and installation, and communicate findings effectively. • Gather and analyze data to resolve discrepancies and ensure estimate accuracy. • Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. • Complete bid forms, qualifications, and supporting documentation per the RFP. • Present estimates and cost strategies in bid reviews and production meetings. • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, architects, designers, contractors, and vendors. • Conduct ongoing research on labor costs, materials, and industry trends to support estimating accuracy. • Continuously enhance technical knowledge through training, industry resources, and professional development.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. • 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction preferred. • Strong understanding of construction principles and ability to read architectural drawings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and ERP systems. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
